| Biography: | Angela Bernier, OTR/L, received her bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and rehabilitation studies at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She also received her Masters Degree in Special Education with a concentration in early childhood from George Mason University in 2009. She has been practicing occupational therapy since 2001 and currently works for Fairfax County Public Schools with a variety of students in preschool, elementary and middle school. She has used the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum since 2001. She has also provided many presentations on handwriting development, fine motor development, handwriting strategies, and techniques to teachers, parents, and support staff throughout the Northern Virginia/Washington DC area. |
