| Biography: | Ann-Christin Hyatt, M.S., OTR/L has over 30 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist working with children ages 0-21. In 1975 she graduated as an Occupational Therapist in Stockholm, Sweden and in 1983 received an advanced degree in occupational therapy and education from Uppsala University, Sweden. Ann-Christin came to the USA in 1988 and in 1992 she received an advanced master's degree in occupational therapy with a focus on administration and pediatrics from Columbia University, New York. Mrs. Hyatt is Nationally Board Certified and presently licensed in Arizona. She is also certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test. Ann-Christin has been working with handwriting in a wide variety of settings and has been using HWT for more than 10 years but consistently since she took her first HWT class in 1991. She loves the program and has promoted it to several school districts and educational programs. The HWT curriculum is now adopted by her present school system and used by teachers in the developmental preschool programs, grades KG-5 (elementary grades), and by therapists in the upper grades. |
