| Biography: | Sarah Cotton, MHPE, OTR/L, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 2005 and Master of Health Professions Education in 2006 from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. She holds National Board Certification and Arizona state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. She has 10 years experience with HWT, providing services to children in school settings as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and now as an OT, and has also utilized the program as an OT in pediatric home based services. Sarah has used the HWT program since 1998, providing direct services to children, as well as training, consultation and in-services for parents, administrators and educational staff. Sarah has continued to promote the continued use of HWT as curriculum in her current school district and has had great success with the pre-k, printing, and cursive programs. After years of loving the program, her formal training in HWT began in 2006 and she is now Level 1 Certified. Sarah currently offers summer in home tutoring services through an 8 week program. Due to spots being filled quickly, it is recommended for parents to start contacting about summer services in April prior to the summer session which generally begins the last week of May. |
