Biography:	Dora Sarkodie received her Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from New York Institute of Technology. She is a licensed and registered occupational therapist in New York. Dora has extensive experience evaluating and providing therapeutic interventions for pre-school to high school aged children with a wide variety of sensory regulatory disorders, handwriting problems, and fine motor & visual motor difficulties. She specializes in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has experience utilizing sensory integration, neurodevelopmental treatment, Therapeutic Listening® and Handwriting Without Tears®. Dora uses play, a child's way of learning to achieve desired goals and loves working with the pediatric population. She works closely with parents and educators and lectures on the topic of sensory integration and Therapeutic Listening®. Dora currently shares her time between working at New York City Department of Education and treating children privately in their homes. Dora is trained in the HWT pre-K through 5th grade curriculum and has used it extensively and successfully in all areas.
