Biography:Melanie Nickerson has been a teacher in the public school system of Nova Scotia since September 1990. She has taught at the elementary and secondary levels and has experience as a resource education teacher. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees from Dalhousie University, and also obtained a Master of Education degree from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2005.
