| Biography: | Deanne DeBenon, OTR/L, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University in 1993. Her 14 years of experience has been in a variety of pediatric settings from early intervention, clinical practice and within the schools. She is trained in the Handwriting Without Tears™ Pre-K through 5th grade curriculum and in using The Print Tool assessment. Deanne has used the Handwriting Without Tears™ program for a number of years with pre-school and elementary school aged children. In addition, Deanne has used a kinesthetic & visual motor based program to improve reading, and learning with children for dyslexia and other learning difficulties. She is also trained in Therapeutic Listening™ and is continuing her education in Learning Disabilities, dyslexia and sensory-based difficulties. |
