Biography:	Irene Hannam is the owner and creator of Write Expectations, LLC. Irene received her Bachelor's degree from University of Delaware and her Master's of Occupational Therapy degree from Shenandoah University. She has worked in various occupational therapy settings, transitioning to the private and public school setting full time in 2001. Irene has treated children with a variety of diagnoses (i.e., sensory integration dysfunction, autism, Down's syndrome, cerebral palsy, dysgraphia, dyslexia, visual perceptual/visual motor delay, ADD/ADHD, developmental delay, fine motor delay). She is a Certified Handwriting Without Tears specialist and works with students of all ages facilitating legible handwriting, as well as building their confidence and skills with written expression tasks. Irene is currently a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and NBCOT certified. Through her variety of experiences, she understands the importance of collaboration with parent, teacher, student, as well as other service providers to establish and facilitate student success in the classroom/school setting. Being a mother of three children, Irene has new perspectives on teaching children, promoting their independence, and helping them to reach their full potential.
