Biography:Penny Laschanzky received her Bachelor's in Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha, NE. She has over 15 years of experience providing occupational therapy (fine motor coordination) services to children, birth through middle-school ages, in school-based and home-based settings as well as within inpatient and outpatient hospital/rehabilitation and private pediatric clinic settings. Currently, Penny is a therapist for Lincoln Public Schools. She is formally trained in the Handwriting Without Tears Pre-K through 5th grade curriculum (both print and cursive handwriting), and the Print Tool Assessment as well as the IOWAN handwriting assessment and Handwriting Without Tears Screener of Handwriting Proficiency. Penny also continues to provide ongoing training and coaching to staff and family members working directly with students for improved follow through with program implementation.
