Biography:Monique received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Wayne State University in 1989. She has been providing occupational therapy services in the school setting since 1990. Monique has worked with children from birth through age 26 throughout her OT career. Currently, her primary student caseload is with children aged 3 years through sixth grade working with the Traverse Bay Area Intermediate School District. She is a presenter for the S'cool Moves for Learning program. Monique has been using the HWT program for ten years in pre-school classrooms as well as elementary classrooms. Monique frequently presents the multi-sensory, developmentally based Handwriting Without Tears program to parents and teachers in general and special education settings.
