Biography:	Miami Handwriting was founded by Nicole Santamaria OTR/L. Nicole has been an occupational therapist for over 15 years with a vast experience in pediatrics and adults. She is NDT trained with a strong foundation in development. She is highly trained in fine motor, visual motor and handwriting skills. She is currently providing handwriting instruction, remediation and early readiness skills to children in the Miami area. She has received the highest level of certification in this area as a Level 1 handwriting specialist by the popular Handwriting Without Tears Program. This training provides an in depth understanding of pre-k, k - 5th grade print and cursive writing. Services can be applied to many handwriting curriculum used in public, charter and private schools, such as D' Nealian and Zaner- Bloser. Certification also includes a background check. In addition, Nicole reaches out to the community with teacher and parent training on normal development as it relates to fine motor, visual motor and handwriting skills at a variety of schools.
