Biography:Sandra Harvey has a bachelor degree in Fine Arts from the University of Kansas. She is the author of the Calligraphy Guidebook, "Keeping it Simple...Calligraphy for Everyday Life" and has taught the craft for the last 6 years. She has done research in the areas of handwriting and how illegible penmanship has caused costly medical and business errors. Through the HWT curriculum, she is determined to teach children and adults a legible hand. With our youth starting keyboarding at age two and three, it has become crucial that we stress the importance of handwriting. The mental growth process involved in handwriting affects important learning functions.
