Biography:Richa Kapoor MOT, is a Gold Medallist Post Graduate in Occupational Therapy. She is certified in Sensory Integration from University of Southern California, USA. She has also attended many international Workshops on Sensory Processing Disorders with Paula Aquilla and Carol Kranowitz. She is certified Brain Gym Level I instructor under guidance of Sarylom Poole (Cambodia).She is Certified Methodology Expert in HWT Curriculum . She has taken Special Training with Natalie Hale ( Special Reads for Special Needs) for Reading Development Program especially in kids with Down's Syndrome. She has 15 years of experience in managing kids as young as 1 day old to adolescents with development delays.Presently, She is a consultant with the most Reputed Hospitals of the City, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Max Super speciality Hospital, Apollo Cradle and SBAMI.She heads Sensitivity, Child's Skill Enhancement Clinic and Early Intervention Centre. She is also a Post Graduate Lecturer and Examiner. She is on Panel of Guides for MOT Students and Examiner for Dissertations of MOT Students. She is also a Consultant with various Reputed Schools of Delhi and has conducted Workshops for teachers and Parents on various topics like Handwriting Strategies, Child Development Milestones and Managing Behaviour in Classroom. She has developed Learning Centre Teams for many schools to help children with special needs. She also consults with teachers regarding classroom strategies and sensory diets, as well as families through more of an embedded coaching/parent training model. She has developed Early Stimulation Program in NICU of various reputed hospitals of the City. She effectively applies the Neurodevelopmental Therapeutic approach on children with Neuromuscular Disorders and Development Delays from Infancy itself. She is HWT Level I Certified and is presently the Country Lead for HWT India, and her love for the HWT curriculum pushed the first ever HWT Workshops to India. She is a keen learner and passionate about her work. She emphasizes the functional approach, an amalgamation of various approaches and protocols, to achieve early and sustained outcomes
