Biography:Leslie McGivney has received her Bachelor in Science and Master in Science from Mercy College. She has 4 years of experience as a registered and licensed Occupational therpist providing services in a school setting, clinic based and home based. Home based services have been in early intervention and also providing handwriting assistance to school aged children. Currently, Leslie works as an Occupational Therapist for Theraplay(Sensory Gym), in an elementary school and also as a preschool OT Evaluator. Leslie is trained in the HWT Pre-K through 5th grade curriculum. Leslie has also conducted fine motor groups in a sensory based gym for children ages 3-5 for the past 2 years. As a certified HWT specialist, Leslie is passionate about the curriculum and enjoys helping children have fun while improving their handwriting.
