Biography:Mackenzie Sawyer received a B.A. in Psychology from UNC Wilmington and a M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Alabama State University. She is currently working towards her second year in a doctorate program for Occupational Therapy. She has 4 years of experience providing services in school, outpatient, daycare, home settings. Currently, Mackenzie is employed with Pender County Schools. In addition, she owns a private practice, "Smooth Strokes Handwriting" working with private clients. Mackenzie is trained in the HWT Pre-K through 5th grade curriculum and provides intervention for a variety of treatment diagnoses using her background in Occupational Therapy to provide a multi-sensory approach.
