| Biography: | Mina Brouillette, M.S., O.T.R. received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education in 1971 and her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 1989. She has taught first and second grades and has worked as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for 23 years. Her eighteen years of experience using the Handwriting Without Tears Curriculum includes individual therapy in an outpatient setting as well as in small therapy groups. She holds regular lectures and classes for parents, teachers and other occupational therapists helping them to understand the development of fine motor and handwriting skills. She is well versed in using this curriculum with children from preschool through Grade 5 and she has even applied the ideas and techniques with children up to Junior High school. |
