| Biography: | I am currently a first grade teacher at Mountain View Elementary School in Clovis Unified School District. I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies from Fresno State, my teaching credential from National University, my masters degree from Fresno State, and my EdD in Education with a Specialization in Curriculum & Instruction from University of Phoenix. I am entering my 21st year of teaching. I discovered HWT online because I had so many students struggling with their handwriting. Never being formally taught in college how to teach handwriting, I jumped at the chance to have a solid curriculum to use. The dramatic change I have seen in the past couple of years with my students is amazing!! The Print Tool has made a world of difference for my students that I just didn't know how to help before. I can help them with the specific areas of weakness, and concentrate on improving that need. Training my colleagues in our district and encouraging them to "give it a try" is now my new mission! |
