| Biography: | Amy Prechel graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond in 1996. Since graduation, she has worked for the Prince William County school system and has successfully taught handwriting to children from preschool to high school. Her students include regular education students and children with varying levels of mental retardation, autism, learning disabilities and emotional disabilities. Amy was trained by Jan Olsen, OTR and developer of Handwriting Without Tears®. She also presents Handwriting Without Tears® workshops to teachers, school administrators, therapists and parents throughout the country. |
