| Biography: | Sue has been a practicing OT for over 20 years. She received her BS in Occupational Therapy from The University of Kansas in 1998, her MA in OT with a focus in pediatrics from Texas Woman's University in 2009 and her PhD in OT from Texas Woman's University in 2017. Sue worked in the public and homeschool settings for 14 years where she became certified as a handwriting specialist through Handwriting Without Tears. She also worked for Handwriting Without Tears for 10 years traveling the nation doing presentations and selling the curriculum at educational tradeshows. Currently, Sue is in academia and worked as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Occupational Therapy Graduate Program at the University of New Mexico until moving to the Nashville area in Fall 2017 where she is faculty at Belmont University. She continues her private handwriting tutoring practice for children of all ages/abilities and enjoys making a positive impact on children in any setting by giving them the gift of legible handwriting. |
