Biography:	Shelley Portaro received her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. She has 7 years of experience providing services to children from 2-14 years of age with varying degrees of handwriting difficulties. Currently, Shelley works for a private practice in Charlotte, NC which she founded in November 2004. Shelley incorporates her SIPT (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) certification with the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum to instruct children on handwriting.
