| Biography: | Marcia received her Occupational Therapy BS degree from Western Michigan University 1975 and her MA degree in Educational Technology from Michigan State University, 2001. She holds A level certification in SAMONAS Sound Therapy, and is a presenter for the S'cool Moves Program. She has two years additional training in Infant Mental Health Therapy. She has over 30 years of experience providing occupational therapy services with children 2 years through high school, in both the schools and mental health agencies. Currently Marcia works in Northern Michigan for Traverse Bay Intermediate School District with preschool through early elementary special needs children. Marcia works primarily in the Elk Rapids and Kalkaska school system. She has used the Handwriting without Tears program for 20 years, and has presented this innovative program to teachers and students in both the special and regular education settings. |
