Biography:	Deborah Lucero is a retired Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has worked primarily in the pediatric setting in the public schools, home based therapy and most recently in a clinic. In the public school setting she noticed that the primary concern of teachers related to occupational therapy was handwriting. In 2008 she attended The Handwriting Without Tears training. She became certified as a Handwriting Without Tears Level I handwriting specialist in March 2010. Deborah realized how the expertise she gained from The Handwriting Without Tears Curriculum has played a significant part in how she remediates handwriting skills.
