Biography:	Joanne J. Figone, M.A., O.T.R./L, received her Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her M.A. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California. She has a advanced certificate in Feeding and Swallowing. Joanne has extensive training in Neurodevelopmental Therapy, Sensory Integration, Myofascial Release, Interactive Metronome, Therapeutic Listening, and Perceptual Enrichment Training. She has been working in the field of Pediatrics for over 35 years and has been helping children with handwriting for the past 30 years. She was a presenter for Handwriting Without Tears for over 10 years. In addition to her private practice, she provides services to school districts. She has lectured and given workshops to therapists, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
