| Biography: | I am blessed to have had the opportunity to serve children and their families as a nurturing and patient Early Childhood Educator for 22 years in public and parochial schools. I currently tutor children that have learning-related visual and auditory problems that include dysgraphia, dyslexia, ADHD, and sensory processing problems. I have been trained to use the Orton-Gillingham method for reading, spelling, and written expression. I utilize the Learning Without Tears program for handwriting, and the "I Read... I Succeed" program for eye tracking and visual perception skills.I am available for private tutoring sessions at your home,school or at the library, for struggling learners, ages Pre-K through 5th in the St. Charles City/County area in Missouri. My credentials include: Master's Degree in Elementary Education, Bachelor's of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education teaching Certificate, Orton-Gillingham training and trained Vision Therapist.
