| Biography: | Sybil Barker is a dyslexia specialist and tutor. To better serve her students, who often struggle with handwriting, she pursued training and certification in the HWT PreK-5th Grade handwriting curriculum. She is very aware of the struggle for self-esteem faced by children with learning difficulties, and she is very careful to show no impatience with their mistakes. Sybil has served children professionally for over 25 years, mostly as an educator, but also as a children's librarian and hospital social worker for children with learning problems. |
