| Biography: | My name is Kate Sherry and I have worked as an educator since 2010. Originally from Connecticut, I graduated from Lynchburg College with a BA in English in 2006. After graduation, I lived and worked in New York City in the publishing field before I moved to Virginia where I received my Masters in Elementary Education PK-6. Prior to joining my current school where I teach Kindergarten, I taught Junior Kindergarten in Charlottesville, Virginia for three years and Kindergarten in Charlotte since 2013. While I love teaching all subject areas, literacy is my favorite! Nothing gives me greater joy than helping students learn to read and write. |
