Biography:	I am a 25 year veteran teacher of the Georgia Public School System. I have taught grades K-3 and Early Intervention. I hold a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and an Education Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership. I am CERI certified as a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist with over 15 years of experience in the area of reading intervention. In 2020, I joined the College of Education faculty at Georgia Southwestern State University. I now instruct Pre-Service Teachers in Elementary Education. In my spare time I like to read, garden, fish, and do most anything else outdoors. But, most of all, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren.
