| Biography: | Kristen Garfield owns a handwriting tutoring business, Doodle Bug Handwriting, for clients in the NW Houston area. She is trained in the HWT Pre-K readiness, Printing, and Cursive curriculum, as well as The Print Tool administration, scoring, interpretation, and remediation. She also does presentations and inservices for schools and teachers wishing to learn more about the HWT program. Kristen received her B.A. in Psychology from Baylor University in 2003, and her Master of Occupational Therapy from Texas Woman's University, Houston campus, in December 2006. She has 10+ years of experience providing services in a private outpatient pediatric clinic and 8 years of experience in the school setting. Currently, Kristen works as a school-based occupational therapist in Klein ISD. |
